One thing I love about living in Nashville is how many great sports teams call this town home. Our AAA baseball team, the Nashville Sounds, has a beautiful field at the First Tennessee Park, complete with an amazing bar/restaurant called The Band Box. Every season, they invite a handful of chefs to create a unique all-American dish to serve as a special at a home game. We were really honored when they invited the HoneyFire team to participate!
We put a lot of thought into our dish and ultimately settled on HoneyFire Totchos, a delicious concoction featuring smoked pork belly burnt ends, crispy tater tots, white queso cheese, jalapenos, our signature HoneyFire sauce, and creamy salsa verde. The goal was to sell out, and we’re really glad to say that mission was accomplished. We got to hang out and enjoy the game with our families, and the crowd really seemed to love the dish, so it was a win-win situation. Actually, the Sounds won the game, so I guess that makes it a win-win-win.
Special thanks to the Nashville Sounds and the Band Box for being such generous and hospitable hosts for this very fun event!
