We were honored to host our 4th annual Military Christmas Dinner on December 9, 2019. For the past few years, we’ve had the privilege of serving a delicious dinner around the holidays for Active-Duty Soldiers, Deployed Soldier Families, Single Soldiers, Veterans, and First Responders and their families from the Fort Campbell, Hopkinsville, and Clarksville communities – completely free of charge. Our friends Donnie and Michelle Bowen, who run Combat.fit, organize the event and work hard to secure door prizes, treats for the kids, and other amazing donations to create a memorable evening.
Our HoneyFire team closed down the restaurant to the public so we could focus on our guests of honor. We don’t do that very often, and in order for us to justify it, there has to be a really worthy cause. In this case, we honestly can’t think of a better reason to turn away our regular clientele (and we were so thankful for their support). It was our pleasure to serve dinner to these amazing men and women as a small gesture of thanks for all the sacrifices they make to serve our country and keep our families safe.
