Our Story



When Grand Champion BBQ Pitmaster Shane Nasby started sharing his mouthwatering dishes, it didn’t take long for catering requests to roll in. Soon, Shane quit his day job to start HoneyFire Kitchen, a catering company featuring his signature smoked meats and crowd-pleasing sides. Along with his wife Angela, Shane built the business to become a premier provider of catering services throughout middle Tennessee.

In 2017, HoneyFire teamed up with long time friend and business partner Ben Claybaker to develop a brick-and-mortar restaurant concept that would feature Shane’s award-winning barbecue. After searching all over Nashville for an ideal location, they found the perfect spot at One Bellevue Place, right in their own neighborhood of Bellevue.

From the wraparound covered patios to the clean, modern design of the dining room, every detail of HoneyFire BBQ is a reflection of the desire to offer true Southern hospitality to their guests. Each dish from the kitchen has been personally crafted to create truly satisfying food, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is marked by an unwavering commitment to kindness, positivity, and fun.
