Back in 2018, Nashville entrepreneur Ben Claybaker teamed up with his longtime friend and fellow smoked meats enthusiast Shane Nasby to concept a brick-and-mortar restaurant with a modern twist on the local barbecue scene.

After searching all over Nashville for an ideal location, the duo found the perfect spot at One Bellevue Place. HoneyFire Barbecue Co. has since become a destination spot for barbecue enthusiasts, whiskey connoisseurs, #queinthevue neighbors and tourists alike.

Every detail of the HoneyFire BBQ environment reflects our unwavering commitment to kindness, positivity, and fun. Fresh, clean design with wraparound covered patios creates a unique atmosphere where guests can savor award-winning barbecue served with true Southern hospitality. All of our sauces and rubs are honey-based and homemade. Like our smoked meats, we take our time. Each dish is personally crafted with heart and soul.

Our slow-smoked meats feature a melting pot of American barbeque seasoned with our own modern Nashville twist. Texas brisket, Kansas City sweet sauce ribs, Memphis pork sandwich (yes, with coleslaw on top!), Alabama white sauce… we’ve got all your mouthwatering favorites, along with our own HoneyFire Signature dishes.

Pair that smokey goodness with artisan sides like cold pimento cheese macaroni salad, a family recipe handed down from Granddad Poppers. Whiskey lovers also enjoy our massive collection of the good brown stuff from around the world as one of Nashville’s top 10 Bourbon bars.
